Think you'll love these too?
Here’s a life update now that we’re going into the second half of the year, Reader.
Great news: I’m no longer bored of my work
Not-so-great news: I’m still recovering from the exhaustion of the 27 emails I sent in the last 3 weeks.
For real, though. Now that the Success Session calls are turning into clients and starting actual coaching, I found myself reeeaaaaally looking forward to it. The real action has now begun! ❤️🔥
Note to self: A soul-satisfying career is made of big and small moments, many of them include everyday life moments, like chasing a barefooted 2-year-old on a rainy Tuesday evening because she refused to end the evening walk.
Oh, hi!
To kick off the second half of 2024, I thought I’d share some of the things I recently love.
1️⃣ This foldable laptop stand from Moft 💻 with 4 different angles. I work mainly from 3 places - studio, home office, and anywhere in-between, including my mom’s living room. This laptop stand helps with my posture, plus I get a much better background on Zoom
Pros: No more double chin view on coaching calls (🥰), portable, sturdy despite the slim profile
Cons: Considerably heavy, premium price
2️⃣ This white Tyeso tumbler 💦 to replace my beloved-but-beaten old 1 litre plastic water bottle.
Pros: Keeps me hydrated, modern and sleek, doesn’t scratch, cheap, lightweight compared to similar tumblers of its kind
Cons: No straw - they have a straw version but it looks complicated when it comes to cleaning and I can be picky on nooks and crannies in a bottle. So, nope. 👎
3️⃣ This throw blanket from Maju Home. 🥨 I realized that familiarity brings joy into my life, and this blanket is one of them. I brought it to an Airbnb staycation once, and words can’t describe how much I love cocooning on the sofa wrapped in it while sipping hot peppermint tea. You bet I’m going to bring it again, to, well, camping. 🏕️
Pro: Stretchy, has a weight to it (like an adult swaddle, a human burrito!) 🌯
Con: Premium price for a blanket
4️⃣ This rom-com from JLo 🥵 that leaves Netflix soon. For some reasons, my era of Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts and Reese Witherspoon (oh, Drew Barrymore!) is now taken over by Iron Man, Jurassic Park and Godzilla the movie (thanks, boys). But lately I’ve been craving for slower, happier, feel-good stuff. This one ticks the boxes with enough excitement and brain tickles to keep me going.
Pro: JLo 🔥
Con: I haven’t finished watching it, so none identified yet
Psst. If you’re one of my global friends and the links above don't work, check them out here and find them on your local marketplace or Amazon.
If you do decide to get any of them, let me know! I'd love to know how you feel about them. 🥰
I’m going to close this email with a simple prompt, Reader. It's often said by my friend, a life coach and a healer, Savy Ho.
“Let go of what was, surrender to what is, and have faith in what will be.”
To the life you’re meant to live and the person you’re meant to be,
Bella
